Frankincese & Myrrh Resin Salve

This unique, aromatic salve is essential oil free and crafted solely from the whole sap of Frankincense and Myrrh trees. The Frankincense sap used in this salve is the prized Hojari (Boswellia Sacra) species which is grown in southern Oman and is the highest quality medicinal Frankincense in the world.

Frankincense has immune-stimulating, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-arthritic properties. It is commonly used in perfumery, fumigation, skincare, beauty and postpartum healing. Hojari Frankincense is high in alpha-pinene, which is beneficial for skincare and promoting a healthy inflammatory response.

Myrrh is a powerful anti-oxidant, promoting skin health and combatting pain and swelling of muscles and joints. Like Frankincense, it is commonly used in perfumery, religious ceremonies, skincare and wound care.

Mixed together, they have a warm, woody and earthy aroma. Both resins have been used for thousands of years throughout the world for their powerful healing and medicinal properties. Each resin is ground, extracted in heated extra virgin organic olive oil over the course of several days, strained and then combined with Alberta beeswax.

Multi-purpose salve for all superficial skin conditions, including eczema and dermatitis, and for soothing joints and muscles. Doubles as a beard balm. Useful for baby skin and cloth diaper safe.

Ingredients (*Certified Organic): Olea Europaea (Extra Virgin Olive) Oil*, Boswellia Sacra (Oman Frankincense) Resin*, Commiphora Myrrha (Somalia Myrrh) Resin*, Cera Alba (Beeswax)*.

Directions: Apply as needed for any superficial skin irritations, dry skin, or sunburns. Rub on sore muscles and joints. Safe for breastfeeding and babies/children.
