Baby Bum Balm

A healing and soothing petroleum-free alternative for daily diaper changes, specifically formulated with solar-infused organic Calendula, Chickweed + Chamomile flowers and Myrrh to combat diaper rash and other skin irritations. Cloth diaper safe.

For babies under 3 months old, please use either our Plantain + Northern Bedstraw Salve or Frankincense + Myrrh Resin Salve, for an essential oil-free diaper balm.

Please note: This Baby Bum Balm is formulated to be much harder than most other Bum Balms currently on the market. (If you're looking for a softer balm, our Frankincense + Myrrh Salve or Boreal Salves are much softer). Our Baby Bum Balm requires you to use the back of your nail to scrape the product out of the container, and then to warm the product up in your hand. The hardness is due to the high beeswax content, which is done on purpose to help protect baby's skin and provide a barrier when it's sitting in a wet diaper. Beeswax is a natural skin humectant and protectant and will help to hold moisture in the skin, as well as protecting against rashes. I formulated this when my son was small and still in diapers, and this is what I found worked best for his skin.

Ingredients (* Certified Organic): Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Oil*, Prunus Dulcis (Almond) Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Kernel) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil*, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flowers*, Stellaria Media (Chickweed)*, Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile) Flowers*, Commiphora Myrrha (Myrrh) Resin*, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil*, Anthemis Nobilis (Roman Chamomile) Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Oil*, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).

Directions: Apply sparingly to baby’s bum during diaper changes.
