Belly henna is an amazing way to celebrate your pregnancy and your transition into motherhood. Many women choose to get belly henna done for maternity photos, as part of a Blessingway / Baby Shower or for labour/birth.
Belly henna can be done anytime, but is commonly done in the third trimester.
Natural henna is completely safe for pregnancy. A henna stain will last approximately 1 - 1.5 weeks depending on the quality of aftercare.
Appointments for belly henna generally take between 1.5 - 2.5 hours, depending on the size and density of the design chosen. A unique design will be developed just for you, based on your preferences.
For belly henna done for maternity photos, it must be applied 2-3 days prior to the maternity photo shoot, as the henna stain needs time to oxidize and the deep reddish brown colour to fully develop for optimal photos.
All belly henna appointments include full taping of the finished dry design with Mefix tape and complete aftercare instructions.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.
